Through our behaviour assessment processes, we work to:
We take an ecological perspective within all our assessments. Within our behaviour assessment, this means we are looking not just at the child, young person, or client, but at the environment around them. The physical environment and how those within this environment interact with your child, young person, or client and others can often effect behaviour.
Following a behaviour assessment, we can work collaboratively with your team to develop a behaviour plan specifically suited to both your child, young person, or client, and the specific context they are working in.
Our team will work with you to develop a user friendly plan specific to the needs of your team. All behaviour plans will include preventative strategies, replacement skills, responsive strategies, and a reflection structure.
Implementation of behavioural strategies is the most important part in ensuring success for your child, young person, or client. Often, as we begin to implement behavioural strategies, difficulties emerge and plans need to be adjusted in response. Our team can work with you through all stages of implementation, ensuring support for these adjustments, and continued guidance through navigating any difficulties which emerge.
